Q:       What is Electro-Chemical Activation?

A:       Electro-Chemical Activation is the process of passing a saline solution or ordinary water through specifically designed electrolytic reactor, the design of which permits the harnessing of two distinct and opposite streams of activated solutions.  These solutions are a dilute solution of nascent oxidants with a redox potential of up to 1100mV.  This potential makes them among the most broad-spectrum germicides available to industry.

Q:       Is it safe?

A:        There have been no Health & Safety issues with regard to skin contact, allergies or inhalation effects.  ECASOL™, used as a mouthwash showed no detrimental effect on the mucosae yet reduced oral microbial load by over 1000-fold.

A:        ECAFLO™ devices have been installed throughout Europe in the Water Treatment, Food Processing, Industrial and Healthcare industries.

Q:       Is ECAFLO™ convenient to the user?

A:       Yes, on site generation plant allows you to generate ECASOL™ on demand.  Each fully automated system has a daily production capacity to suit all requirements.  ECASOL™ also allows for the disinfection of areas not permitted with toxic chemicals.

Q:       Which micro-organisms do ECSAOL eliminate?

A:       ECASOL™ kills bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores and destroy microbial toxins. ECASOL™ is effective against pathogens such as P. aeruginosa, Salmonella choleraesuis, Clostridium sporogenes, E-coli, Aspergillus niger, Candida albicans, Legionella, Cryptosporidium, Gardinia etc.

Q:       Can I transport the solutions? 

A:       By installing an on-site generation system there is no need for expensive transportation or storage.

Q:       Is it patented?

A:       Yes.  ECTG purchased the international patented rights to the technology in 2002.   We are the only authorised supplier of this equipment, working in conjunction with Professor Bakhir, who originally developed the ECAFLO™ technology.
